With more than 200 miles of pathways and trails, endless adventures abound.
The Woodlands green pathways and trails link major villages of The Woodlands, including schools, our 151 parks, local village centers and shopping areas.
Trails are a daily affair for many offering a fun and active way to enjoy the outdoors alone or together. Whether walking, running, biking or blading, they’re a great way to get active and enjoy the outdoors.
The George Mitchell Nature Preserve connects and protects up to 12,000 acres of forest on both sides of Spring Creek, and is located in the Village of Creekside Park and Indian Springs and spans 1,700 acres. Part of the Spring Creek Greenway Project, it includes nearly 40 miles of linear trails for hiking, biking, as well as canoeing on Spring Creek.
We’re always looking for ways to connect with nature through recreational programs from boat houses, sports leagues, youth programs, and Rock The Row events have brought locals and nature together in concert at Hughes Landing.
