Kirby Ice House in The Woodlands has been recognized as the Most Significant Lease in the transaction category from the 2022 REDnews Houston Real Estate Awards.
Set to open this fall in The Woodlands Town Center, adjacent to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Kirby Ice House will be the first location in The Woodlands for the popular Houston patio bar, which will highlight a 141-foot bar, claiming the distinction of the longest bar in Texas.
Similar in design to the other Kirby Ice House locations in the Greater Houston area, the fan-favorite bar will include over 10,000 square feet of indoor bar space and over 18,000 square feet of patio and backyard space with room for outdoor games, food trucks and events.
The Woodlands location will boast Kirby’s largest indoor area, as well as its first indoor/outdoor bar and its most elevated AV/TV package featuring 70 HDTVs. A variety of draft beers with 120 taps for beers, cocktails, wine, and spirits will be served within a rustic ambiance that features Texas signage, vintage movie posters, and plenty of seating.
“We are excited that Kirby Ice House in The Woodlands has earned the prestigious Most Significant Lease Award by REDnews,” said Patrick Stites, Vice President, Houston Region for The Howard Hughes Corporation. “This award represents our commitment to providing quality entertainment adjacent to The Woodlands Waterway for residents and office professionals to enjoy. Most notably, Kirby Ice House will be a welcome destination for The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion concert-goers and our popular seasonal attractions such as The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival as well as its close proximity to retail, shopping, hospitality, and businesses.”
CBRE’s Sydney Dixon and Brian Ashby represented Kirby Ice House in the transaction negotiations while The Howard Hughes Corporation was represented in-house.
