Alex Bunch Creates Art — Live Studio Experience and Shop
“I believe each of us has a story to be told through art, and watching it come to life through glass is a gift to behold,” says Alex Bunch.
The glass and mirror are sourced from all over the world, and in the talented hands of local artist Alex Bunch, they are hand-cut or kiln- formed to create stunning mosaic works of art.
From July 4th – July 14th artist Alex Bunch will move his studio space into Market Street next door to Kate Spade and across the street from Tommy Bahamas. He and his team will create a Pop-up Live Studio Experience and Shop featuring his artwork and inspired lifestyle brand, AB Love. Live demonstrations of Alex’s up-and-coming artwork will be ongoing throughout the 10-day event.
The exhibit will also feature a display of his mosaic work “Let There Be Love” from his 2018 collection which was recently featured at The Glade Gallery, as a well a short film and montage telling a visual story of its creation.
“I believe each of us has a story to be told through art, and watching it come to life through glass is a gift to behold,” says Alex Bunch.
Bunch has been drawing, painting and creating with anything he could get my hands on since he was a small child. This creative spirit has taken him to work all over the world as an Advertising Executive, Creative Director and Designer, contributing and leading campaigns that hold coveted spots in our country’s pop culture. All these past experiences (especially living in London for 5 years) are influences that continue to inspire every aspect of his life and his art.
You may recognize him from his emceeing and Creative Direction of The Inspire Film Festival, or his helming of the annual Art Dash Party for The Woodlands Arts Council, or perhaps from just hanging around town with his three boys, Grant, Aidan and Jude.
You may recognize his art work on the feet and arms of The Woodlands area most fashionable folks as his shoes, handbag and lifestyle brand has reached local fashion cult status.
