The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
From Bach to rock, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion features world-class entertainment under the stars for up to 16,000 people. Popular touring acts that have played The Pavilion include, Sting, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Kenny Chesney, Tom Petty, Gipsy Kings, and many others. In addition, The Pavilion is the “Summer Home” of the Houston Symphony.
The Pavilion’s parent organization, The Center for the Performing Arts at The Woodlands, provides an extensive array of youth programming and educational outreach initiatives to introduce the arts to young people. The largest of these events is the annual “Children’s Festival,” held in the fall.

Cinemark at The Woodlands
This 17-screen Cinemark movie theater brings Hollywood’s blockbuster hits to The Woodlands Town Center. With XD Extreme Digital, two mega stadiums, all stadium seating and state-of-the-art sound systems, Cinemark is a favorite for residents and visitors. (www.cinemark.com)
Cinemark at Market Street
Market Street’s five-screen Cinemark theater is a more intimate venue, but features the same first-rate sound systems and stadium seating as the larger Cinemark theater. A mix of Hollywood and independent films are featured in Market Street. (www.cinemark.com)
Outdoor Concerts & Performances
Under the auspices of The Woodlands Township, free Concerts in the Park are featured each spring and fall at Northshore Park overlooking Lake Woodlands.
