The Woodlands Country Club

The Woodlands’ original country club saw the evolution of The Woodlands and flourished as the community grew up around it. Established in 1974, The Woodlands Country Club set a standard of excellence with top-notch amenities, recreation and a legacy of family togetherness and camaraderie among lifelong friends.

The home of The Woodlands Country Club is the Palmer Clubhouse, with its warm Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Craftsman architecture. The clubhouse features a large fireplace in the main dining room, a comfortable lounge where there’s often live entertainment, plus luxurious fitness, spa and locker rooms. A swimming pool is nestled on the grounds that lie at the edge of the emerald fairways of the Arnold Palmer golf course in the Village of Cochran’s Crossing.

Tennis
All Woodlands Country Club memberships include access to the world-class Woodlands Tennis Facility, a tennis player’s dream. The Facility includes a total of 21 courts, including 4 indoors, 7 Laykold hard courts and 10 Har-Tru clay courts outdoors, a fully stocked pro shop, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and newly renovated viewing areas. Leagues, clinics and instruction make The Woodlands Country Club’s tennis facility a great place to enjoy and improve your game among friends.

Signature Golf
Open since 2001, the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course has been named the Best New Private Course in Texas and the #3 Best New Private Course in America: by the pre-eminent Golf Digest magazine. It is currently ranked #5 Best Private Course in Texas” by Golf Digest. The Nicklaus course is located near the main clubhouse of The Club at Carlton Woods.

The newest course in The Woodlands bears the name of one of the most popular golf course designers in the world today, the renowned Tom Fazio. The Fazio Championship Course is the centerpiece of Carlton Woods Creekside. The Club at Carlton Woods is one of only two private clubs in America to feature the private Nicklaus/Fazio combination.

The Carlton Woods Golf House combines the most experienced instructors with access to the finest computerized golf training equipment available.

Tennis
Members of The Club at Carlton Woods can practice their serve on six regulation courts, and participate in leagues and tournaments that promote athleticism and camaraderie. Junior and adult tennis programs provide instruction and state-of-the-art equipment to improve and enhance your game.

Dining and Social
At the Nicklaus Clubhouse, The Carlton Room features some of the most delectable cuisine in the area, ideal for a relaxing experience in fine dining. Or you can host your own private gathering in the rustic yet regal Tuscany Wine Room, perfect for more intimate special occasions. Members can also enjoy great food in an informal setting at The Overlook Room or Nicklaus Grille. The Fazio Clubhouse features a large main dining room overlooking the 18th green.
