The Village of Sterling Ridge
The Village of Sterling Ridge is one of the newer residential area of The Woodlands, encompassing new homes in a wide range of styles and price ranges and a host of recreation and neighborhood conveniences for its residents:
New Homes – Homebuilding is underway in many neighborhoods in the western area of Sterling Ridge known as Terramont, including homes surrounding the Gary Player Signature golf course. Homes are also being offered in May Valley, a new 400-acre neighborhood in West Sterling Ridge that is now being developed.


Parks – The larger parks in Sterling Ridge include Cranebrook Park, Terramont Park, and Artist Grove Park. With features like the water fun park at Cranebrook and frisbee golf, skateboarding and a ‘bark’ park at Terramont Park, Sterling Ridge is a great place to enjoy the outdoors with the whole family. Schools – Conroe ISD schools, including the Joel L. Deretchin K-6 school, and nearby Coulson Tough K-6 and The Woodlands High School Ninth Grade campus are located in Sterling Ridge. The new neighborhood of May Valley in West Sterling Ridge is served by the Magnolia ISD. A number of pre-schools and child care centers are also located in the village. The George and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Library makes its home in Sterling Ridge.
Shopping – Convenient neighborhood shopping is located in Sterling Ridge Village Center, featuring a Kroger Signature store, Walgreens drug store, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grill and Nit Noi restaurants and many other shops and services. A Wal-Mart SuperCenter and many other shops are located at the western entrance to The Woodlands at Woodlands Parkway and FM 2978.
Recreation – A new branch of the South Montgomery County YMCA is located on Ashlane Way in Sterling Ridge.
Transportation - The Sterling Ridge Park 'n' Ride is located on McBeth Way near the YMCA and library.
