community parks situated throughout The Woodlands. While at the parks, stream your favorite
Parks are located in all
villages throughout The Woodlands and are connected through nearly 210 miles of
nature trails. These hike-and-bike trails provide options for walking, jogging,
bicycling and rollerblading.
Community parks feature recreational
amenities including playground equipment, basketball courts, sports fields and
more. There are also seven community pools open in the summer. Along with
recreation, many parks offer picnic pavilions with barbecue grills where you
can enjoy socializing with family and friends.
There are so many wonderful
parks in the community. Here is our list of top parks in each village for
of Alden Bridge – Alden Bridge Park:
There are numerous highlights,
but key amenities include BBQ pits, basketball courts, fishing, pavilion/gazebo,
picnic tables, soccer fields, tennis courts and playground equipment.
of Cochran’s Crossing – Bear Branch Park:
Features include BBQ pits,
pavilion/gazebo, picnic tables, playground equipment, wheel-friendly area, dog
park, volleyball courts and a community recreation center.
of College Park – Harper’s Landing Park:
Features include BBQ pits,
pavilion/gazebo, picnic tables, playground equipment, ball fields, volleyball
courts, tennis courts, dog park and wheel-friendly area.
of Creekside Park – Rob Fleming Park:
Craftsman-style pavilion with a fireplace, kitchen (rented out), picnic tables,
large outdoor grill, fishing, playground equipment and a field which boasts
bluebonnets during wildflower season.
of Grogan’s Mill – Tamarac Park:
As one of the first parks in
The Woodlands, Tamarac features a pavilion/gazebo, BBQ pits, dog park, fishing,
playground equipment, wheel-friendly area, and tennis and volleyball courts.
of Indian Springs – Chandler Creek Park:
This neighborhood park includes
BBQ pits, playground equipment, pavilion/gazebo and picnic table.
of Panther Creek – Northshore Park:
This park overlooks Lake
Woodlands and features fishing, pavilion/gazebo, BBQ pits, picnic tables,
playground equipment and volleyball courts.
Northshore Park is home to free, seasonal Concerts-in-the-Park.
of Sterling Ridge – May Valley Park:
May Valley Park highlights a
vintage pavilion which includes a fireplace, large outdoor grill, playground
equipment and a large splash pad area.
Center Parks – Hughes Landing Park and Band Shell:
Hughes Landing Park overlooks
Lake Woodlands and features a green with a large outdoor band shell. The park
is surrounded by a boardwalk which leads to Lakes Edge Kayak Kiosk in Hughes
Landing where you can rent kayaks; outdoor sculptures and Hughes Landing Dog
Park. Although you cannot barbecue in
this area, there are several dining experiences along Restaurant Row with
outdoor patios to catch the favorite football game.
