Enjoy The Houston Symphony’s Star-Spangled Salute at The Pavilion

by The Woodlands

As tradition has it, the Houston Symphony will perform a Star-Spangled Salute on Independence Eve, Tuesday, July 3 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The Star-Spangled Salute concert kicks off the Fourth of July activities for The Woodlands®.

Free and open to the public, the Star-Spangled Salute has been a tradition at The Pavilion for 28 years. The Howard Hughes Corporation® is proud to be the major sponsor of this patriotic concert since its inception.

Gates open at 6:30 pm for pre-concert activities in the North and South Plazas. Lovable mascot of The Woodlands, Puffy Pine Cone®, will be available for photos during the pre-concert activities.   The Houston Symphony will take the Main Stage at 8 pm to play a selection of patriotic favorites.

Grab the whole family and bring a blanket (no beverages allowed) and picnic to enjoy while listening to the symphony perform a variety of Americana favorites led by conductor Steven Reineke, along with featured vocalist Ryan Silverman. Lawn chairs for those sitting on the hill will be provided free of charge.
