Are you looking for some family activities to enjoy in anticipation of the Easter holiday? There is plenty to do in Montgomery County. Here are just a few eggs-ordinary outings. 

 

·       Kayak Easter Egg Hunt

March 24, Saturday at 9 a.m.

The Woodlands Waterway

2101 Riva Row, The Woodlands

Starting at the River Row Boat House, each adult/child kayaking team will take a trip down The Woodlands Waterway on a search for Easter eggs!  Children must be accompanied by an adult in the kayak. Fee: $30 Resident pair: $35 Non-resident pair. Pre-registration is required for this event by calling 281-210-3950 to secure your child's spot!

 

·       Morning with Mr. Bunny

March 24, Saturday 10 a.m. to noon

Carl Barton Jr. Park

2500 S. Loop 336 W., Conroe

Bring the kids out to the to enjoy Morning with Mr. Bunny, featuring an Easter Egg Hunt for over 15,000 eggs! Hosted by the City of Conroe’s Parks and Recreation Department, this free, family-friendly event is for children ages 18 months to 12 years old. The egg hunt begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. and goes fast! Enjoy taking a funny bunny photo, prizes, inflatables, concession stands, and more. Bring your camera and Easter basket!

 

·       EggTivities

March 30 & 31, Friday & Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum

4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, The Woodlands

Children are invited to join the "egg-citement” to celebrate Easter with special art projects, games and activities. Visitors can make their own bunny masks, dye eggs and place their colorful creations in an egg carton basked or bunny box they decorate. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos. The fee is $6 for visitors age one and older. Recommended for children ages seven and younger.
