 The Howard Hughes Corporation is proud to host "A Decade to Remember” on Thursday, October 19 from 7 - 9 pm at Creekside Park Village Green. The Celebration marks the 10th anniversary of the Village of Creekside Park.

With this monumental occasion happening this week, here are 10 fun facts about Creekside Park:

1.     Village of Creekside Park, the ninth village in The Woodlands, opened October 19, 2007.

2.     The 1,700-acre George Mitchell Nature Preserve features natural-terrain bike trails.

3.     Rob Fleming Park includes a large play field, lodge and a bluebonnet field during the wildflower season.

4.     The murals in the Lodge at Rob Fleming Park depict sketches from the late Texas Wildlife and Naturalist, Rob Fleming.

5.     Rob Fleming Aquatic Center is the first community pool in The Woodlands to feature a lazy river.

6.     Creekside Park is home to 23 parks.

7.     Creekside Park is home to three Tomball ISD elementary schools, one junior high and Lone Star College – Creekside Center.

8.    Opened in July 2015, Creekside Park Village Green features retail, restaurants and a park as its focal point.

9.     60-acre Creekside Park Village Center is anchored by H-E-B.

10.  A variety of new homes are offered in Creekside Park, priced from the $330s to more than $1 million.
